Cuttle.
The receipts of cuttle were moderate and
1 nmdo up ehielly of common stock. There
| | wen\ few loads of fair native steers , but
nearly half the receipts were western hay-fed
stock , whien were shipped to Chicago. The
: bulk of the sales made on this market were
common stock.
i Th.e receipts were light. The market
opened slow and fully 15 cents lower on the
I best grades. The "Anglo , " however , began
buying about 10 o'clock and prices stiffened
up a little nml on the whole was not mort
than 10 cents lower than on Friday. The
quality of hogs received was itot as good u ;
on the day previous , there being considerable
light stufl among the offerings.
