Corn displayed considerable activity around the opening and for a few minutes before the close of the long session , usido from which the prevailing tone was onn of dullness. In the iiencnil situation tliero wcro no Important changes , the lluctuatlons for the most part being In sympathy with the changes in wheat. Crop news was favor able , more rain being reported In some parts of thlslstate. Juno corn was offered spar ingly , and that future was pretty lirmly hold , though tliero was no scarcity of July offer ings , the latter ooing now regarded as the month , The opening to-day was at ust about yesterday's closing figures. The rst trades in July wcro at Hj.Vc , and after ruling weak most of the forenoon and sell ing off tolie , , tliero was a sharp rally under Increased buying to 41 % ( 41 > c , together. The 1 o'clock quotations were at tlio top for all futures , and with tlio exception of August they showed a fractional gain.
