bute to the boys in blue for what they
had done for his race.
Judge Carson spoke on the part Indi
ana took in the war. His remarks were
humorous in part , and yet ho paid an
earnest , befitting tribute to tlio bravo
boosters.
Mr. I'atton , of Macedonia , led in the
signing of "Marching Through Georgia , "
the audicnco rising and joining in ttio
chorus.
After the programmeof songs nnd
speeches , the lloor was given ever to
thosn who delighted in the dituco.
It was altogether thu merriest natlior- ;
ing yet held hero. All seemed to enjoy it
most heartily. The members of the local
organisations , Abe Lincoln post , and the
Veteran Legion , together with the citi-
yens , gave a hearty welcome to the visi
tors , and the guests seemed to bo well

The police have been asked to make a
hunt for an Omaha man , named Walluer ,
who is said to have left that city in com
pany with Mrs. Joseph Knudna , and her
little daughter , aged six years. The hus
