OMAHA IjlVB STOCK.
Tuesday Kvenlnc , May 11.
Cattle The receipts were unusually light
and tlm maiket about steady. Considerable
Htock that had been left over from the day
before changed hands. All kinds of choice
cattle were In good demand.
Hogs The market opened strong at yes
terday's quotations , but the heavy receipts
had a tendency to weaken prices , and sales
were iiuuln at lower figures than on ye.ster-
dav. Buyers claimed that they paid more
thnn the market would bear yesterday , and
that it was coming down to ils proper level
to-'Jny. The reeelpts of hogs to-day were
1,000 as against 700 lor n week ago.
Sheep There were no arrivals and prices
aie only nominal at S4.00@5.00 for choice
gindes.
