Christian Temperance Union was hold In
Omaha , October Oth , 1884 , presided over
by our lamented president , Mrs. Jonnlo

On October 30th a now constitution
and by-laws were adopted ; November
6th the Woman's Christian Tcmporanco
das9elation of Omaha became an Incor
porated body. At the same mooting It
was decided to bay $25 worth of stock
In the Union Signal ,
December 4th wss observed aa a day of
prayer by the union throughout the whole
country ; meetings were held by our
union nt the Baptist chnroh from 10 a.
m. nntll p. m. They were very inter
