William Ni'jholas. who waa discharged

manner in which he bad communicated the
disease to his family. lie did not know when

of the danger of communication of the small

A reporter in conversation with a railroad
man yesterday learned further particulars
of the VilHsca accident on the Q line Sunday.
The accident occurred near abridge at Vil-
> llsca and when the stock train was about to col
lide with the half dozen cars blown on the'.track
the engineer named Aba Shlnley jumped out
of the window , seriously injuring himself.
Ho was taken to Croaton where ho is now being
cared for , Tha fireman was also dangeronsly
[ bruised. Last night it was reported that
Stanley was ma very low condition and not
expected to live.
A meeting of tbo Fair association was
i held Monday night in rooms of the organiza
tion. George Canfield was elected director ,
vice W. H. McOord resigned. G. W. McKay
was appointed superintendent of special btoy-
ola department with authority to offer $50 ,
.and if necessary more for premiums.
Messrs. Liningor and Garneau wore
.appointed a committee to go to
Cleveland on tha Fourth of July to cloao con
tracts with the owners of Maxey Cobb and
.Phallas. Other minor business was transacted -
