COUNCIL BLUFFS , Juno 16. To the
Editor. Dear Sir : Being made aware
by some of my friends of an article head
ed "Wonders will never end , " .1 was as
tonished to find a conversation published
which took place on Friday of lost week ,
between your most gentlemanly reporter
and my humble self , J. M. Lamcke , and
not * 'J. M. Lancho , " as announced. But
all the same I thank you most sincerely
for your strict attention toward , not
mine , bnt the welfare of the
public at large , which I
am sure time will show. Further
more I am plain to state that I am pnz-
zlod how to take the following sentence
"Ho was soon found attending to
business , looking very different from an
ordinary quack. " I could hardly tell
whether to take it as an insult or a com
pliment , but looking 6ver the article I
conclude that a compliment Is the result.
'
Now for a few words to the public as an
Introduction. I state fairly that I am
not a learned doctor , but with the assist
ance of a year's study of medicine , fur
thered by gained experience in my
travels around the glebe , and at last by
the help of a woo , woo bit of common
sense , I hold In my possession the soorot
of a raixtnro called "J. M. Lamcke'a

which throws any liniment known so far ,
deep Into the shade. This is the verdict
not of tun bnt of hundreds of people that
liavo used it , and it will bo the verdict of _
millions of people that will use it heroJ J

The discovery was made yesterday
morning that during the previous night
