Stocks Were extremely dull all day , the
total transactions being only 09,782 shares ,
the smallest for any day this year. Prices at
the opening were firm and in early lading
there wai a slieht advance , followed by a
moderate reaction in which early gains wore
lost. From 11 o'clock until the cloeo the
market was strong , with an upward tendency ,
but ( or July alight advances. Extreme flac
