governments except a decline of Jo in coupon
fours ,
Stocks Were very dull all day and filled
to develop any feature of special interest.
The opening prices were generally at or near
the highest , and the closing prices within n
a fraction of the lowest of the day , and yet
the declines are only for fractional amounts ,
except in two or three cases. The weakest
stocks were Vanderbllt , especially Lake Shore ,
for which , after declining from 52 ic to 51 jo
closed , at a loss of Ijjc , at 61Jc.
