over the ratoa at which freights have been
coming forward of late , although it Is below
the last tariff rate. Lackawanna continues to
lead the active list about one-fourth of the
day's business being m that stock , In the
last hour it yielded n fraction and cloned with
a not advance of Igc. The remainder of the
active list la up In fractional parts of Ic , the
market closing steady at or within a small
fraction of the bast quotations of the day.
