The general produce market with the ex
ception of eggs continue about the same as
last week. The fine weather has brought the
egg market down to about Its normal basis.
To-day's quotations are Ifie , tnd commission
men utato that they will bo down to 12Jc in a
few days.
The grocers report only few changes in their
commodities , and say that trade is excellent ,
Iho flour and food dealers report a good
trade and in some Instances lower prices.
The lumber trndo as is usual at this season
of the year is now beginning to boom.
In the drug trade prices are about the
same.
The dry goods merchant i report many
changes , all for tbo benefit of the purchasers ,
i. o. lower prices and a brisk trado.
The hardware dealers also aio handling lots
of seasonable goods in their lino. Some of
the leading staples are lower , A brisk trade
Is oho announced.
The paint and oil dealers report that prices
have readied the bottom point and trade is
beginning to be quite brisk.
The receipts of grain during the past week
were about the average and the prices paid
wore a little better than the previous week ,
The live stock market is not quite as brisk
sinca the cold weather but enough have been
received to keep the packing houses busy ,
and prices were very fair.

chants with the exception of grain , which is
quoted at the prices furnished by the eleva
tors and other local buyers :
