accompanied by many rumor ? , including oaa
that the company would probably default on
paying the interest on tba second mortgage
bonds March 1 , another that the bonds sold
came from the Metropolitan bank or the clear
ing bouse. When these rumors were denied ,
and on the general ftrtngthening of the stock
market , the bonds rallied to StJ. Thursday
last they closed at DO. There win nell dis
tributed feeling in other issues , the prices of
which were irregular , but generally higher.
