to-day about the Now Jersey Central passing
under the management of the Pennsylvania
railroad or the Delaware & Uudeon canal com
pany. Other shares Eladvancud 4 to lie.
Union Pacific was conspicuous for weakness
on the statement from \Vashi ngton that the
nUty-yoir funding bill would be defeated. It
closed go lower.
