Genorl Produce Apples- There are but few choice apples left in the market and these are bringing good prices ; Bon Davis , S3 50 ; Gentons , § 2 50 , Poultry Consignments have so far been more liberal this week than last , and as tha weather is a little softer too , sales havu not been quite so brisk at the high prices , and these may have to be shaded some for the end of the week. On turkeys the demand runs for small ones only. Shippers should remem ber that scalded poultry cannot well be graded as "choice , " although it has of late frequently brought ton prices on account of scarcity of all grades. KBPS-Quite a rn&rked advance has taken place. An almost total /uluro of any receipts tor about two days , brought prices up to 28 ® 29o , and oven SOo for right fresh choice stock , and still supplies seem to lie nhort. However , we want to waVn shippers to bo careful In buyIng - Ing as wo have not much faith In this boom , which is liable to collapse as suddenly as it rose , for the many rotten and stale egga that have lately appeared indicated that lots of them had been hold for some time , and as these reterve stocks may not be exhausted yet , they will moat likely be fcent in on the present prices , which would cause a decline. At all events we shall endeavor to obtain the highest prices possible. Butter Quiet and steady. Receipts con tinue moderate , with prices unchanged , but a little more firm.
