The produce market to-day was very quiet
and little business was done. For chickens
there is little or no demand and prices rule
very low. Turkeys are still strong and were
selling to-day from 12@13 centa per pound ,
There are very few turkeys in the market , the
Christmas trade having exhausted the supply.
Dealers are not looking for any decline In the
price of turkeys nnd some of them say that
they think it will bo dlllicult to find turkeye
enough to supply the New Year's trade. The
apple market is firm and prices have advanced
slightly. Good stock Is quoted at $2 76@3 2 !
per barrel.
