The ocoro by innings inal cates to what narrow limits the waver- inc judgement of victory was confined. O'Brien the visitor's pitcher noomcd in the Gth inning to have settled the result by batting a splendid fly over the right center - tor fence but in thooigth , ho surrendered the St. Paul's chances by giving Snocd his base on a balk.
