A man answering Glover's description stopped at Kiel's hotel barn about 10 o'clok Sunday "morning , and then loft to have fed a gray horse with one shoo oft , just as described in the sheriffs advertisement. The man said ho was going to got shaved , and about 11 o'clock came back , got the horse , and wontawav. Brooks and Mullen getting track of this , mounted on horseback and wont after him , they being about three hours behind him. They followed thotrail to Pony creek and thorojloot the trail. Af ter keeping up the hunt until dark they returned humo. They are both satisfied that it was the real murderer whom they were after. Others doubt this.
