Comfort lor Emigrants. t'i A great many persons know just how emigrant cars are constructed , and great many more know nothing at all about it. The cars are built in sections , with upper and lower berths , after the style of Bleeping cars , except that they , are not finished as nicely , neither are they upholstered. The emigrant business has got to bo great business , and the railroad compa nies have found ib necessary to make some move toward the comfort and con venience of this class of passengers , The Union Pacific connmny has adopted the system of ( jiving each passenger a chock entitling him to a berth in an emigrant car. The berths and sections will bo numbered in the emigrant cars just as i- t- they are in the Pullman cars , and whether the passenger gets in early 10 late ho will bo able to secure his berth , provided he has his check. This will . away with a great deal of trouble and annoyance noyanco among the emigrant passengers and it will also prevent the crowding'o ' : emigrant cars , as only as many chock will bo issued as there are berths in th car , hence each passenger will have berth. berth.ANDREWS' ' ARSNOUS RrmCTOHOlDUDW EARIIUK1HOPOWDE ITAMBOUNDTORISC StOpO. Conspiracy Collnpgo , About four years ago the Omaha book company was closed out and its largo in1 dobtodncss adjusted much to the satis faction of all the creditors of that con1 , and to tlio satisfaction corn as well of a majority of its stockholders. It was then supposed that all controversy in favor of or ugainst the book company was forever at an end , and such would probably have boon the case but for subsequent personal diflioultiea between W. J. Council , the attorney for the creditors , and A , J , Uanscom and his son-in.law , George E. Pritchott.
