In a review of the British grain trade for time
past week , says : The continued wet weather
further damaged crops. Wheat Is less finn ,
Flour was firm at times and dearer. Foreign
wheat weakened , the supply being large.
Flour In less demand. Market forboth maize
and barley against buyers and there was little
inquiry. Trade in cargoes off coast brisker ;
20 arrivals 14 sales , 13 cargoes withdrawn , 6
remain. About 15 cargdes arc duo this week.
Trade in forward months stagnant. Sales of
English wheat during the week , 28,735 uar-
tore at 42s id per quarter against 10,273 quar.
