The funny part of It is that now
that the gamblers have virtually eon
sonted to an order to close , and have
compiled therewith , there are some in
the council who propose to take them
at their word and keep them closed II

effect two things. It will teach the
gamblers that if they try to use the
council as a club to thamp some othe
gamblers they are liable to got clnbbot
with their own weapon. It will ala
have the effect to lesson gambling

the poor.
