Daflr , who takes hold with much earnestness. The institution was favored last week by a visit from General O. 0. Howard , his mother , Mrs. Ellra Gilmore - more , and his little daughter Bessie. The general talked to the pupils in the chapel in a most entertaining manner for an hour. Fathers MoMenomy and Mnlhol- land , by invitation of Soparintondont Rogers , addressed the children in the chapel last Sunday afternoon. Mr. R interpreted their romarka. After a general addrots all except Oathollo children were dismissed , and to the latter a doctrinal address was made. Pamphlets containing the catechism and prayers of the church were left with Mr , Rogers for distribution among the pupils. The reverend gen tlemen promised to make monthly visits hereafter.
