A heavy tornado prevailed east of
the Hoosac Mouutainj yesterday , par
ticnlarly at Lar. The depot building
at the latter ph'c ? , G0i20 feet , was
torn to pieces , the foundation moved
four feet. The passengers and opera
tors escaped uninjured. A freight
car was blown across the Troy &
Greenfield railroad track.
