The stock market In the forenoon clcvolci oped n very decided weakness , becoming almost panicky. Between noon and 2 o'clock the market steadied , with a fraq- tional recovery. In the lost hour the mar ket was stronger and prices generally advanced - vancod , several stocks making the highest prices of the day. At first after 2 o'clock the market wan rather dull but showed in creased strength. About 2:15 : it became more active nud there was an upward movement of prices.
