Tim market opened steady with sales at 1 23J , but shortly after 10 o'clock the report was received that the Anchor Oil company had struck a fivn hundred barrel well in Forest county. Excitement followed this report and the market weakened and commenced falling two and three cents at a time until the noon cloae , when final sales were made at 1 13i a drop of 12 cents from the highest point of the session. It is esti mated that 3,000,000 barrels of oil changed handa during this time.
