The man indicated was rather prepossessing -

Upon arriving in the city Mr , Mere
dith placed the caao in the hands of
Dectectivo Joe Arnold , and although
two hours were spent in looking up
the confidence men , no trace of thoin
could be discovered ,
Mr. Meredith is 51 yearn of ago ,
nnd lives at a distance of about seven
teen miles from Iowa City. Ho feel
