He also thought the commission men would follow suit. Mr. Easton mored that the nimo of the organization bo "Tho Retail Grocers' Frotectivo Association. " Mr. French suggested that a com mittee be appointed to draw up a con stitution and by-lawa. Mr. McShane ouggcated that there be an initiation fee to pay expense of hall , etc , On motion the chair appointed Messrs. Sander , Madien and Ilolin to make arrangements for securing a place for meetings. Mr. Kasaon tuggoated that the mat ter of credits bo taken up , and that grocers report to each other the stand ing of customers who obtain credit from place to place. The object is to put a chock on dcadbeats , Mr. McSlmno snid that Mr. Yatca had u plan that might work , and that wan to have a forfeit of $25 on the part of any grocer who trusts a man who has l > uen rut used credit else where , if the grocer is aware of the fact , The forleit to go to help pay the bill at the previoua place.
