At that moment the saloon-keeper
rushed out , a policeman cnmo up , and
"or five minntcs the air was rent with
ihouts and exclamations nnd cspostn-
ations.
"It was all in fun , " explained the
larmer.

Where the Train Was.
Tlicro were n dozen of us waiting nt
the station near Strasburg , Va. , for
the noon train. Everyone had cut
Ins dinner short to catch the train ,

pened. The ticket fgont was also the
telegraph operator. Ho was n young
