ment. The facts are these : Dr.
Montgomery , who was called to at
tend MuAvun , ordered from Dr. Pat-
ton's stable a horse and buggy , to be
loft hitched to the post at thu foot of
the Htairs leading to his otlice on
Pearl street. JJoforo the team from
the stable came Mr. D. J. Uockwoll
drove his homo up and hitched him to
Alontgomory'flpost , At 4 o'clock , when
re.idy Dr. Montgomery came down ,
jumped into the Rockwell buggy sup
posing it wus the one that Dr. Patton
sent , and diove oflf. This will settle
one of the easoH of horao and buggy
"stealing. "
