Boston dispatches state that last
evening after the inquest into the
murder of the child Kate Curran by
Jesse Poraeroy , three physicians
thinking there must be some cogent
reason for his conduct , called upon
his mother , who was very frank in
answer to their questions. She
said her husband was a butcher ,
and was now a lugger in the mar
ket ; and that when she was preg
nant with Jesse she often went to
the slaughter house to see the kill
ing of animal" , in which she took
particular delight , and had often
assisted her husband in this work.
