We had the pleasure a few days ago of
a visit from our jovial shoolmnte, Enoch
Welty. Mr. Welty has been teaching for
several terms at St. Deroin. Judging by
the length of time ho has taught in one
school, it is evident the St. Deroin people
think Enoch is about the man. The gen
tleman displayed his good sense by sub
scribing for the Hksi'KUIan Studknt.
Normal students are teaching in vari
ous purls of tlio state. Miss Lucretia
Tucker is tecahing in the Tecumseh Grn
iled school. Miss Franklc Hull and Miss
Vesta Noyes in the Brownvillo High
School; Mr. W-IC. Loon)ourroin Pal
myra; Miss Adelo 1$. Knowles in the
North Graded School of Omaha: Miss
Lydia Hell in Pawnee city, is principal of
school; Miss Emma Williams in Lincoln;
ml Miss Julia Kingman in Falls City.
Remember school closes June 2!ld,
Come friends to the closing exercises.
See programme ubqvc. '
We are unavoidably Into with this Is
