BETA THETA PI BANQUET
Beta Thota PI gave Its fourteenth
annual banquet last Saturday evening
at the Lincoln hotol. Previous to the
banquet Carl Dlorka was Initiated
and Albert Randall of Omaha was
pledged.

ALPHA TAU BANQUET
The Alpha Tau Omegas gave their
fifth annual banquet at the chapter
house Inst Sntur nav evening. The deco
rations were of smilax and tea roses.
Many alumni were present from over
the state.

good things the guests spent the re
mainder of the evening in singing and

THE PAN HELLENIC
The Pan-Hellenic hop was held at
the Auditorium last Friday evening.
Over one hundred couples were pres
ent, greatly enjoying the last party of
the year. Fraternity pennants were
used in the decorations of the hall.

DELIAN GIRLS ENTERTAIN
The Dellan girls entertained the
boys of that society at 1436 S street
on last Friday evening at their annual
"feed." Ths was the result of the
program contest In which the judges
decided that the boys could talk the
best, so the girls must cook and feed
them. Miss Susie Doane as toastmls

SNEAK DAY
Senior sneak day came Friday as
announced. All seniors were prohib
ited from attending classes, although
some evidently forgot this. A crowd
of seniors assembled at Miss An
thony's home, 1025 G street, and pre
ceded from there to Lincoln park. A
spread was prepared under the trees.
After lunch the class assembled and
adopted the class song. Then they
presented a mock opera In 'the thea
tre. Ae no juniors apeared to enter
tain them, the seniors lL.n started
back for town about four o'clock,
with their flag flying from the car.
Several seniors stayed with President
Swenson to guard the flag while the
others departed to their respective
homes.
SIGMA XI INITIATION
The honorary society of Sigma XI
held its annual initiation ceremony
Wednesday night The following
new members were Inducted into the
society: From the senior class, Adolph

MINNESOTA NEXT 8ATURDAY.
The game with Minnesota will be
played next Saturday. Local baseball
enthusiasts look for a close contest
Minnesota beat Iowa and Notre Dame,
Nebraska beat Iowa and played a
close game with Notro Demo, no close
that the Notro Dame captain, after
having two pitchers knocked out of
the box, had to put in Fleet, their
star man, in order to save themselves
from defeat Among the seven lead
ing college teams of the northwest
Minnesota ranks about fourth this sea
son.
