Sibert Cather, '95. Tho story Is en
titled, "Jack a Boy." During her un
dergraduate days Miss Cather was a
frequent contributor to tho college pa
pers. Since her graduation she has
been engaged in literary work. Sho
was for a time attached to the s.aff of
tho Nebraska State Journal.
In a letter recently received from
Edward A. Bessey, '9C and 98, he
says: "Please put me down on your
list of subscribers for stock in tho
company to publish a dally at the Uni
versity next year. I am very much
pleased to see that tho movement for
a dally has taken such a strong hold,

The thirteenth Annual Course of Lectures 'will,
commence on tho 10th day of September, 1000,
and will continue eight and one-half months. The
course is graded and covers a period of four years.
Medical Hall, tho Laboratory of Medical Science,
tho Laboratory of Medical Chemistry, and the
Laboratory of Anatomy are situated upon the Cam
pus. The clinical opportunities afforded by the
hospitals and dispensaries of Minneapolis and St.
