A. S. Pearso, '00, visited university
friends last Saturday. He is instruc
tor of biology and commandant of ca
rets in the Omaha high school.
J. C. Hitchman '98, left for Cuba a
week ago last Tuesday to accept a
position of draughtsman under ".Too"

the topographical survey of the -department
of Havana.
Herbert E. Reagan '97, was married
on March 19th to Miss Marion Ethel
MacArthur, of Chicago. Mr, Rea
S&n is in tho employ of the WcPtern
Electric Co.

One of tho debates In which the uni
versity was Interested and in which
she wen honors is perhaps not known
to many of tho students. Tho third
year German class in tho Geneva high
school gave a German debate, not long
ago, under the direction of Miss Nettie
Henry, '00. '1 ho German speaking peo
ple of tho city wcro Invited to act as
judges. It was their verdict that the
work of this class was a happy sur
prise to them and reflected great credit
upon Miss Henry's ability as a teacher.
Will Dungan, one of tho famous
"Seven Bills" on tho '96 football team,
is at present in the Big Horn valley
with a B. & M. surveying party. At
tho time ho left tho university ho was
a junior in the civil engineering department.

throughout the fraternity and visiting
Phis, passing through the city, are fre
quently found among the goodly num
ber of local men aiways present.
Tho third annual dinner of the Ne
braska University Club of Chicago will
be held in tho ordinary of the Victoria
hotel, corner vanBuren street and
Michigan avenue, on tho evening of
Friday, April 19, 1901. Reception at
6:30 p. mr, dinner at 7:30 p.m.; plates
?2.00.
It is expected that two or three men
prominently connected with the uni
versity will attend and will address
the club. Definite announcement will
be made later.
All alumni, former students and
f nends of the university, together with
their wives, husbands or friends are
invited.

The thirteenth Annual Course of Lectures will
commence on the 19th day of September, 1900,
and will continue eight and one-half months. The
course is graded and covers a period of four years.
Medical Hall, tho Laboratory of Medical Science,
the Laboratory of Medical Chemistry, and the
Laboratory of Anatomy are situated upon the Cam-
u. The clinical opportunities afforded by the
ospitals and dispensaries of Minneapolis and St.
Paul are at the command of the College. For out
door clinical service a new clinical building has
been built in a central location.
