There is a movement on loot, to liave i
tlie regents consider the a.dvisibllity ,
of reducing the requirements for grad
aiatiiou. This is -certainly a movement I
in the xight direction. For, 'Certain it
is, the requirement in the "University '
is ailgn as compared wltb the major-,
ity 'Of schools of this class. In some
of the eastern (colleges where the '
course is a difficult one, and to reduce
the amount of wortc is not plausible,
the course .extended over five 3'ears.
