According to the Westminster Bud
get Queen Victoria has Issued a royal
warrant establishing a new Indian dec
oration entitled the Kaisar-i-Hind
medal, which has been Instituted by
her majesty at the request of Ixrd
Curzon of Kedleston, who finds that
the existing orders at his disposal are
too limited to enable him to reward
the public services of many natives
and Europeans who merit eome gov
ernment recognition. Any person is
eligible for the Kaisar-i-Hind medal,
irrespective of race or Bex.
Wants all the cadets to have Ttheir uniforms
cleaned and repaired before the battalion ap
pears in uniform. A seed' looking uniform
will spoil the appearance of the whole com
pany. We will make them look like new.
