Miss Wor loy was an Instructor in the piano de partment at tho University School of Music last year. Mr. and Mrs. Dom orest will reside In Denver, where Mr. Domorest is ongaged In tho wholesale millinery business. Mr. P. B. Weaver, one of last year's prominent juniors, and Miss AiTna L. Crook, also a university student, wero married on August 30 at Falls City. Thoy will continue their work In tho university this year. Mr. Weaver In tends to enter tho law school. The Nebraskan-Hespevlan joins with their largo circle of friends in extending most hearty congratulations. We are pleased to be able to an nounce the marrlnge of Mr. Adolph Bollenbach, '99. to Miss Mabol Cole of Hastings, Nob. Both are well known In university circles. Miss Cole is tho daughter of Gen. A. V. Cole of Hastings, and attended tho university school of music a year ago. Their many student friends join in wishing them a long and happy life. Their future address will be Weather ford, Okla. Tor., where Mr. Bollenbach will engage in newspaper work. Mr. W. B. Allen and Miss Grace Wheeler, '00, were married July 10 at the homo of the bride's parents, 2Gth and Q streets. Mr. Allen was assis tant in the physical training depart ment last year. Mr. and Mrs. Al len will reside at Spokane. Wash., where Mr. Allen has charge of the physical training department and zoological laboratories in the high schools. At present they are In quar antine at Victoria, B, C, on account of an outbreak of smallpox on their boat. They will have to remain in quaran tine for two weeks at least. THE MILITARY DEPARTMENT. Drill will begin as usual as soon as registration is finished. Setting up exorcises will be the order of the day for several weeks. A largo increase In numbers is expected and it may bo necessary to organize the men into two batallions. Tho old style of uni forms will be retained this year in stead of adopting the uniform of tho national guard as was at first pio posed. Commandant Allen La Rue Brown's work last year was greatly commended by tho United States Inspector. A well drilled batal llon may be looked for this year. A special effort will be made to or ganize companies In cavalry and ar tillery. The Pershing rifles will bo reorgan ized this year and will bo made up of the best drilled men in the batal-lion.
