ChrlBtraas holidays begin Friday,
Decorabor 22, and end Wednesday, Jan
uary 3.
All studontB must got certificates
from tho registrar on Friday, Decem
ber 22, to secure holiday rates on rail
roads for December 22 to January 3.
Tho acting chancellor's hours are
from 11 to 12 a. m.; 3:46 to 4:30 p. m.
by appointment.
Every student who wishes to grad
uate In June, 1900, must bear In mind
that he must bo In within eighteen
hours of graduation February 1, 1000.
That means that all conditions ana
Incompletes now Btandlng must bo ro
moved before that time. Ono student
last year failed to graduate becauso of
unfinished work on February 1.
Members of tho February class who
wish to obtain a "teacher's certificate"
should inform tho registrar at once.

ALL-AMERICAN TEAM.
The Boston Herald has published Its
choice for an all-Amurlcan foot ball
team, making its selection from all the
colleges of tho eastern and middle
states, not only for the man's individ
ual ability and proficiency in tho game,
but also for h!s general utility In team
work. Tho team follows: Left end,
Campbell of Harvard; left tackle, Hille
brand of Princeton; left guard, Hare of
the University of Pennsylvania; cen
ter, Pierson of Cornell; right guard,
Edwards of Princeton; right tackle,
Stillman of Yalo; right end, Poe of
Princeton; quarterback, Daly of Har
vard; left halfback, Sharpo of Yale;
right halfback, Reiter of Princeton;
fullback and captain, McBrlde of Yalo.
This selection gives four players to
Princeton, three to Yalo, two to Har
vard and one each to Cornell and Pennsylvania.

College of Medicine nnd Surgery
The Twelfth Annual Course of Lectures will com
mence on the 10th day of September, 1899, and will
continue eight and one-half months. The course is
graded and covers a period of four years. Medical Hall,
the Laboratory of Medical Sciences, the Laboratory of
Medical Chemistry and the Laboratory of Anatomy are
situated upon the University campus. The clinical op
portunities afforded by the hospitals and dispensaries of
Minneapolis and St. Paul are at the command of the
College. For out-door clinical service a new clinical
building has been built in a central location.
