Tho university Y. M. 0. A. promises

the parents who wore Bonding boys
hero for the first tlmo that many par
ents directed their sons to go at onco
to tho Y. M. C. A. authorities. Tho now
student work has nover been dono so
well. Tho deposit feature worked suc
cessfully. Ono of tho difficulties In tho
now student work has been to keep
lists of rooms in shape, so they would

The meanest man in tho university is
tho one that will impose on tho kind

the hand books that ho can get hold of.
There aro enough and to spare, pro
vided each student takes only ono. Call
at the Y. M. C. A. rooms and get one at

The Sunday meeting was a rouser.
It had a flno audience of young mon,
tho chapel being well filled. Tho ad

attendance. Tho address will be made
by Dr. W. W. Hastings. Good music

The now telephone which has just
been put in the Y. M. C. A. rooms fills

EDITOR'S LIFE SAVED
CHAMBERLAIN'S COUGH
REMEDY.
During tho early part of October,
3 89G, I contracted a bad cold, which sot
tied on my lungs, and was neglected
until I feared that consumption had ap
peared in an Incipient state. I was con
stantly coughing and trying to expel
something which I could not. I be
came alarmed, and after giving the
local doctor a trial bought a bottle of
Chamberlain's Cough Remedy and the
result was immediate improvement,
nnd after I had used three bottles ray
lungs were restored to their healthy
state. B. S. Edwards, Publisher of The
