Mr. Albort Watkins, gave a talk to the journalism class last
Tuesday, on the pecuniary remuneration of journalism. Ho
said that the man of bright intellect does not receive tho re
muneration as journalist that he could. got in law or medicine.
Events in Other Colleges.
In the Grinnell S. TJ. I. final field meet last Saturday, S. U.
I. won by a score of 71 to 65. Tho 100 yard dash was one by
Shiff; time 11 seconds.
The editoral management of The Students' Herald, a neat
little paper published by the students of tho Kansas State Agri
cutural College at Manhattan, will be changed this week.
