HByttZT HPVBmH THE HESPEKIAN m. v - -Nj K 1 ' i 'A I r i W The debaters said nothing the first time, as there was a now sec rotary in the oxocutivo office. The officials have always willingly granted every request made at the office for accommodations for debates, but the fumble always comes in failing to have the orders executed. We know that mistakes must happen with so much business in an executive office, but the recent oratorical contestants in the chapel had a short experience with sudden darkness and it is hoped that every precaution will bo taken to have such ac cidents prevented in the future. The only thing needed is the presence of one of the janitors or a watchman who knows how to manipulate the gas jets, and will turn them on before the electric light goeB out. This we believe will be done, and the possibility of some good debater being knocked out will be removed.
