Professor Barbour is in receipt of some labels for the Morrill collec tion. The labels are very neat, having a white enameled background and blue letters upon it. Miss Darrington, of Falls City, has been visiting in Lincoln this week with the young ladies of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Miss Darring ton was a student in the University last year. Miss Nellie La Selle, of Beatrice was initiated into Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority last Saturday morning. In the evening the young ladies of the sorority with a few of their friends had a dinner party at the Lincoln hotel. Last Monday evening Kappa Sigma fraternity held its second an nual banquet at the Lincoln hotel. Toasts were responded to by most of the members of the local chapter and congratulatory tele grams and expressions of good will were read. The evening was a most pleasant one and will be remembered for a long time by those who were present.
