Dr. Peterson offers the following now courses for next
semester:
1. Tho Icelander Sagas, three hours, open to advanced stu
dents, time of meeting to bo determined.
2. Honrik Ibson's Prose Dramas, "The Dolls House," "The
Wild Duck," "Ghosts;" open to everybody, two hours. The
English translation will bo the basis for class-work, but students
using the Gorman version or tho Danish original will receive
credit for three hours. This is the course which, owing to
lack of time, was abandoned last somostor. Tho time of meet
ing is yet to be determined, and the studontu should see the
instructor as to this at once.
8. Tho class in Swodish, having complotod tho preliminary
grammatical work, can now profitably, bo joined by students
who are of Swodish parontage and know tho language In
connection with this courso, such stndonts may, undor certiain
conditions, rocoivo additional credit for this goneral knowledge.
