Several days ago Dr. Bessoy received a notice from the
secretary of the International Society of Plant Geography of
Franco, that ho had boon awarded a medal for some botanical
work that ho has done. The medal, which is bronze, has
arrived, and Di Bessey is very much gratified to bo the pos
sessor of it.
The Juniors mot last Friday in University Hall. They
decided to give the Annual and Promenade and selected a
class yell:

Mr. Korsmeyer was appointed chairman of the Promenade
committee which consists of twelve members.
