row to celebrate their annual picnic. A

R. S. Baker has prepared an oration on
Abraham Lincoln which ho intends to deliver
in some of the western frontier towns during
the coming summer. He will also teach his
tory and civics in several of tho western
counties.
Dr. 11. K. Wolfe will give an address at
( rand Island June 7, before lLn.ll county
teachers and on June 3rd ho will deliver the
Commencement address at North Loup high
school. Dr. Wolfe will also address the in
stitutes of Saunders, Hamilton and Thayer
counties.
R. A. Emerson and Miss Hat tie JTarding
were married at the bride's home in Lincoln
last Tuesday evening. Both the bride and
groom are former students of the University
and members of the Delian society. Many of
their Delian friends accompanied them to tho
depot as they left on their visit.
