The Phi Psi's gave a cotillion at the Lin coln Friday evening. The Pi Beta Phi held their annual banquet last night at the home of Mrs. A. J. Sawyer on So. 17 St. Miss Wetzel, of Omaha, and Miss Collins, of AVahoo, were initiated in the Kappa Gam ma's last week, at the home of Miss Lau. d M. Skiles, '1)2, is expected here Friday from Ulysses to take part in the alumni program of t'io Palladian society. Messrs. Bert Pentzer, G. W. Kline, Weeks and Curtice have joined the Lincoln Light Infantry. Tho first inter-fraternity base-ball game was played last Friday between the Phi. Psi's and Sigma Chi's. The game resulted in-a yjotory for the Psi's by a score of M to 10. The Palladio.ii alumni program lakes place Friday night. A good program is assured in tho way of talks, speeches, readings, music, etc. Mr. T. F. A. Williams will preside. Fred ,J. Carpenter received a telegram Wednesday morning announcing the, death of his brother-in-law. Ho left for bis home at Parker, S. D., Wednesday afternoon. It will bo impossible for him to return to. school until next fall. - The members of the Y. W. C. A. will serve luncheon, Tuesday. The Palladian Boys' Debating Club enter tained tho Palladian Girls' Debating Club in Pall, hall Saturday evening last. The ques tion debated was the elective system in our college curieuluins.
