LYol. Fossler was at home to his University
class of the Universalist church last Saturday

The Glee and Banjo clubs have decided to
make a western trip, visiting Denver, Cripple
Creek, Colorado Springs, etc. They will start
about April Lr and will be gone two weeks.

A number of men from each company met
together during drill hour Monday evening to
see about organizing a cavalry troop and a
detatchment for target practice. There will
be instructions in saber drill and the care of
tho horse, and target practice. One-fifth
credit will be given.

that S. U. I. is having considerable difficulty
in obtaining tho desired appropriation from
the Iowa Legislature.
