Mr, A. A. Monroe '84, who bus been superinten
dent of the South Omaha schools for twelve years,
attended the meeting of Superintendents last week.
Miss Nelliu (Jiiggs B. A. ''!, went to New York
Tuesday. She will remain there during the winter
to study music.

Omega fraternity last Saturday evening.
Phi Delta Theta initiated Chailes Abbott of Lin
coln last Saturday night.
Win. Hammaug, Nebraska's con tor on tho '95 foot
ball team, was here to witness tho Tarkio-State
game.
C. C. Griggs is now at Galena S. 1). in tho employ
of an assaying Co.
Delta Gumma gave a very enjoyable party last
Friday evening at tho homo of Miss Helen Woods.
About twenty couples were present. It was tho
coining out party of the recently initiated members.
Kappa Kappa Gumma will give a party at thu
home of Miss Whcdon next Friday evening. This
will serve to introduce the new Kappas to the Uni
versity public.

Mr. Kringer of Ames College lias enteied the col
lege, Ho was u member of the famous Ames foot

At tho Maxwell el nb meeting Saturday evening
Denison and Gibson urged tlie justness and equity
of tho dilicienoy judgment law. Kemp and Lyonds
argued from the other standpoint. The general,
discussion was lively. Mr. Lamb presided during
tho parliamentary scrap.
