Whereas, Alpea Epsilan learns of the death
of Brother George TIellier, and
Whereas, again the memhers of Alpha Ep
silan stand as a hand of mourners. The death
of George TIellier has filled our hearts with a
sense of lasting and irreparable loss, ire has
ever been among those whom we most loved
and honored. But his life stands as its own
best memorial, and our words only mar its
symmetry. In the silence of each heart let
his eulogy bo spoken.
Resolved, that each member of this chapter
drapo his pin and wear it as a badge of
mourning for thirty days.
Resolved, that a copy of these resolutions
be sent to the parents of our deceased brother,
and a copy be spread upon our Chapter record
and that a copy be sent to each of ths college
publications and that a copy be printed in the
Sigma Ohi quarterly.

Prof. Randolph of the school of music
spent Sunday with .John Martz near Liberty.
Miss Grace Rushton visited with her par
ents at Fairmont Saturday and Sunday.
Freddy Barnes, the base hallist, has com
pleted the season with Milwaukee and re
turned to his home in Fairbury.

ing trip on the B. & M. lie reports big

will lead the meeting.
.J. II. Lien, has re-entered school. Since
completing the work connected with his clerk
ship in the S. I), legislature he has been city
editor of the "Sioux Falls Daily Press."
Professsor Fossler has started a Sunday
School class at the Cniversalist church for
University students. The work will be a-
long the line of higher criticism and the
"Bible for Beginners" will be studied.
The board of Control for the College Settle
ment, mot last Satureay at 11 A. M. Prof.
Sweezey presided in the absence of the Prest.,
Prof. Fossler. The board confirmed the ap
pointment of Mr. Joe. Boomer as Supt., of
the men's committees, and Miss Thayer as
Supt. of women's committees. Tney discuss
ed the feasibility of renting another house
and placing suitible parties in it on the same
plan that the "Graham Taylor" is running
now. They appointed a committee to inves
tigate the matter of fitting up another house.
