Will McKay will spend the summer in experimenting with hair-restorers. R. A. Emerson will return to his du ties at Washington after commencement. H. O. Sutton will spend the summer on a farm near Tecumseh in spirit at least. Maud Atkinson will tour as far as Yellow Stone Park. Denver is in her circuit. Hugh Walker will spend the summer in getting fat. He will go to Princeton in the fall. E. A. Pillsbury will spend the summer in scaring the people into buying stereo scopic views. Quartermaster J. P. Cameron is hop ing for an appointment to spend the sum mer at West Point. Fred Wancn and R. S. Baker have been chosen as private counsel for the Chancellor and regents. Steve Corey will go to San Francisco. He will spend the rest of the summer with his church at Waterloo. Joe Sayer will spend his time riding out his transportation by going to see various acquaintances of the year. R. H. Graham will do some institute teaching, and spend the rest of his time in making peace with the Greeks. C. J. Elmore '95 who has bet'ii teach ing in the high school at Crete, will spend the summer at the University of Chicago. O. T. Reedy will stay in Lincoln and make up two year's French, Hydraulic?. Electrocutarataxis, thesis, junor themes, and Electrocution. The remainder of his time will be spent in sailing on the lake. Miss Scofield's piano recital was re peated Saturday evening. Carl Bessey will entertain a numler uf his friends at his home Tuesday evening. Miss Nellie Lau left Sunday with her parents for a several mouths sojourn in Germany. Ray Teele and John Saville tested their pedestrian ability by a walk to Milford Sunday. The senior invitations have arrived and are the neatest that have been had by any class for some time. The Pan-Hellenic dancing party takes place at the Beach Tuesday evening. I promises to be the most pleasant social event of the year. President Beardshear. of the Iowa Ag ricultural College conducted chapel exer cises Monday morning. He mad- a few remarks to the students after chapel. The lawn party given by th' Union society at Anna Anderson's Monday evening was a very enjoyabh- affair. About fifty were present and the evening was spent in games and danciug.
