Miss Amy Brunor is in the University
again.
Mr. Thatcher returned with a bride
this fall.
Mias Carrie Countryman is in the
Avoca schools.
W. T. Elmore is specializing in Litera
ture this year.
J. L. Marshall spent part of his vaca
tion in Lincoln.
Miss Alice Hunter will assist in the
Latin Department.
Miss Horn expects to take Post Gradu
ate work this fall.
Many familiar faces among the Delians
are seen this fall.
Miss June Smails has been in the, city
making arrangments for a class in vocal
music.
Have you seen the Delian Group i If
not be sure to secure one at Grant's
Studio.
The Delian picnic this summer was
much enjoyed although the attendance
was small.
H. AV. Quaintance is teaching History
and Mental Arithmetic in Mendota
College, 111.
Mrs Irene Davison McMichael is re
ceiving the congratulations of her Uni
versity friends.
0. T. Needy is in school again after an
absence of two years, during which he
taught in Beatrice.
Mr. Pillsbury '92 at that time Pros, of
Delian Society, is engaged in the depart
ment of Philosophy at Cornel! Uni.
Mr. Charlie Jones and Miss Maggie
Barnes were united in marriage at the
home of the bride 2545 RSt., Sept. 15th.
Miss Eli.aboth Field teaches in Ash
land. Miss Maggie McCartney Cornos has
been atMurry, Nob., the past year whore
her husband is pastor of the United
Pres. church.
Miss May Smatlan a former Delian was
married this summer to Mr. Cadlety pas
tor of a Pres. Church at Saratoga, Iowa,
whore they are now residing.
The Delian reception was very well
atten led Friday evening. Refreshments
were served during the ovoning and
games made the evening pass pleasantly.
The DeliaiH have a groat advantage over
last year in being able to open the year
in their own hall, this and the able
workers at the head with the reputation
for sociability point to a wry successful
years work.
All students not members of other
Sunday schools, are cordially ii.vited to
join the students class of the First Bap
tist Sunday school which meets at 2
o'clock M. in the parlor of the church on
northwest corner of 14 and K streets.
Dr. H. 0. Rowlands will have, charge of
this class during the ensuing year.
